For First Time Visitors

If you are a first time visitor to this blog, I invite you to start from the beginning, especially if you are unfamiliar with the potential emotional impact of long-term child abuse.

Trigger caution to unhealed survivors!

Understanding the Incomprehensible

Children of incest or long-term sexual abuse grow up to be wounded adults with complicated emotional issues. Unfortunately, some symptoms are misinterpreted or often dismissed as "crazy", only serving to maintain a tormented victim status. We, as a society, have the power to change this dynamic. Each of us can make a difference.

Time of beauty
Time of beauty - by grace2244 on Polyvore.com

Blogging will resume when my state of fusion has completed. It's been three months and it's not allowing me to focus on anything other than fusing. I'm online at Polyvore.com with my collages if anyone cares to follow my healing/fusion experience. Survivors are welcome to join my Polyvore group. To check it out, click here.

Will be back when my fusion process allows me to be present for life other than internal work. The good news is I have learned many answers about my programming and some cues to cause me to dissociate.

Please note I've added an email contact on my profile for those who have been trying to reach me.

Dear Grace,

I found your blog through Faith Allen's blog. I am so absolutely amazed by what you have accomplished in your healing and also your artwork and writing... You are incredible! I'm also fascinated by the shear amount of work you are able to produce. It's staggering!

I am at the tip of the iceberg of recovery. I have very few clear memories, but the dreams and flashes are occurring, so I'm bracing myself. I think I'm finally ready.

Anyway, I'm yet another person that your words and art are helping to encourage along the way, thank you.
Sending you blessings,
pf

Thank you so much for your very uplifting comments. I miss blogging as you can tell from the lag between your comment and my response. Just know I'm working to move through this very intense and fascinating stage of fusion and plan to return to my blogs and other writing. Blessings to you too!
